It'll be a great party, too, out under the stars at the Mandarin Oriental's newly renovated Sala Rim Naam riverside terrace.

Cocktails and canapes from 5:00 pm as the sun sets over the River of Kings, followed by an elegant four-course individually served holiday feast featuring sage-roasted turkey with a chestnut and dried cranberry stuffing, a recipe created just for us.

In keeping with the elegance of the dinner, we're pleased to include in the ticket price two glasses of your choice of draft Singha beer or a terrific Rhone valley red wine from Mas des Bressades. The Costieres de Nimes Cuvee Tradition is a blend of Syrah and Grenache, with a rich, fruity taste of black cherries and strawberry. Robert Parker gives it 89 points and calls it one of the best values from the southern Rhone region today.

The no-host bar will be there as usual, with options for an all-evening free-flow of beer or wine for those who wish, and all drinks at special reduced prices just for our affair.

A live band early and our own DJ later will make for smooth sounds throughout the evening.
