The coming U.S. Presidential Election between President Barack Obama and former Gov. Mitt Romney has begun to draw the attention of people around the world. The U.S. Presidential Campaign is, at times, spectacle, excess and demagoguery in their purest forms. It is also, at other times, a vehicle for some of the most sincere, thoughtful, and substantive public policy debates possible.
There are few moments in any campaign like the Presidential Debate where the yin and yang of U.S. electoral politics come together and interact.
This is why we are excited to invite both the Thai and International Community to join us at the FCCT on October 17th for a Debate Watch Party hosted by the Democrats Abroad Thailand. Regardless of nationality or political affiliation, all are welcome to attend what should be a great opportunity to watch the second U.S. Presidential Debate, among friends.
BALLOT ASSISTANCE: As a special service, we'll also have people available before the debate viewing begins to provide assistance with your absentee ballot. So come early, bring your absentee ballot with you and we'll answer any questions you might have about the absentee voting process.
