As Myanmar emerges from decades of isolation, what are the country's real prospects for growth and development?

What are the biggest risks facing the country? What are the keys to ensuring widespread economic prosperity?

A new Asian Development Bank (ADB) report, Myanmar in Transition: Opportunities and Challenges, examines the country's economic and development outlook as it embarks on a new era of reform.

Stephen Groff, ADB's Vice President for East Asia, Southeast Asia and the Pacific, and report author Cyn-Young Park, ADB's Assistant Chief Economist, will provide an overview of new economic projections and analysis, and share a number of policy recommendations that can help Myanmar more fully realize its potential.
