Expat Ladies in Bangkok magazine
one or two deputy editors required

 

Expat Ladies in Bangkok is looking for one or two deputy editors.

We are a brand new team and have just printed our first issue (although we have put two online before). It is a 76 page issue and has schools, hospitals, resorts and many others advertising in it.

You can view the magazine online and unlike any other expat magazine to date we are making full use of the Internet and the social media platforms in reaching our target audience.

The main tasks of the Editor(s) are:

To receive and process contributions for the magazine, and make the final decision on publication content in conjunction with the Publisher

Set the content theme and assess both advertorial and contributor lead article request

Liaise with and manage the contributor team

Liaise with the publisher and design team regarding layout

Select web content for the designer just before issue release

Manage the Social Media content. i.e Facebook, Twitter feeds (although we also have an admin team coming in to assist with this side of the role)

A strong understanding of social networking and basic IT packages essential
