What regulations, policies and laws are considered international best practices to build an internet economy? What role do intermediaries play and do they deserve protection from liability? How do intermediary liability laws affect investment and innovation?

This panel seeks to explore what Thailand can learn from internationally established practices to jumpstart and advance its internet economy to the next stage. In particular, it will discuss the issue of intermediary liability - what it means, why it is an increasingly important concept in internet regulation around the world, and what role it plays for the Thai internet economy.
