Asahi Shimbun, Japan’s leading national newspaper, is urgently seeking for a talented person to join our team in Bangkok Bureau.

Requirements:
- Thai Nationality with excellent command of English
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in any field
- Ability to work under deadline
- Willingness to work extra hour, and travel both upcountry and abroad occasionally
- Simultaneous translation skill is a plus
- Journalism experience is a plus, but new graduates are also encouraged to apply

Job Description:
- Assisting Japanese correspondents for news coverage
- Translating and drafting news coverage reports in English
- Attending press conferences and interviews, and providing simultaneous translation when required
